The precious merino wool we use at Mollu is a fully natural and active fiber. Pilling is a natural process resulting from fiber friction. At Mollu, we treat this as proof of the raw material's authenticity and a total lack of synthetic additives. To restore your Mollu product to its original smoothness, simply use a fabric shaver. This is a standard and safe procedure for refreshing fine wool.

Mollu merino wool features a natural protective barrier that prevents the absorption of odors and dirt. Often, the best way to refresh the product is to expose it to fresh, humid air (e.g., on a terrace or balcony, avoiding direct sunlight). Moisture naturally regenerates Mollu fibers and restores their original elasticity.

We recommend hand washing in lukewarm water (maximum 30°C) using only mild detergents specifically designed for wool. Avoid vigorous rubbing of the material. If you choose to use a washing machine, select only a dedicated wool cycle without spinning. Do not use fabric softeners, as they can damage the natural structure of Mollu fibers.

Mollu products should only be dried flat, spread out on a clean towel. Please do not dry wool in a hanging position, on radiators, or in direct sunlight—this prevents the deformation of the precious fibers. During the off-season, your Mollu product is best stored in a well-ventilated place with natural moth repellents, such as lavender or cedar wood.
